Sarah Geronimo said she already fell in love at the first word that Mitz Tanguilan sang as she explained why she decided to turn for the 12-year-old during the blind auditions of "The Voice Kids" which aired on Saturday.
Tanguilan, who hails from the province of Rizal, impressed all three judges with her rendition of Bryan Adam's "Heaven," earning her the second 3-chair turner of the night.
Coach Lea Salonga and Coach Bamboo Manalac battle it out against Coach Sarah but Tanguilan, a self-confessed fan of Geronimo since she was a child, chose to go with her idol, who was all praise for the 12-year-old.
Asked by host Luis Manzano how it felt when her idol pressed her button and turned for her, Tanguilan admitted it felt like that she had won the contest.
