A 13-year-old Cebuano mixed talent, charm and sense of humor for his performance on the blind auditions of "The Voice Kids" aired Saturday.
Juan Karlos Labajo had both coaches Bamboo Manalac and Sarah Geronimo fighting over him after he sang his rendition of Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You."
He even had coach Lea Salonga jump to her feet after he playfully flashed his eyebrows towards Geronimo.
Manalac tried to convince the half-German to join his team.
In response, Geronimo grabbed a poster of her concert and wrote Labajo's name as a guest star.
But Labajo chose Manalac in the end.
Moments after his performance aired, netizens took to microblogging site Twitter and launched his name to the top of worldwide trends.
Both "Juan Karlos" and "Grow Old With You" had more mentions on the social media site than the show's official hashtag "TheVoiceKidsPH."
