Ang 'The Legal Wife' ay nag-dominate na naman sa Twitter trends sa Pilipinas at sa buong mundo noong Miyerkules nang ipalabas ang isang scene kung saan si Nicole (Maja Salvador) ay lumuhod at umiyak kay Monica (Angel Locsin) para lang makita si Adrian (Jericho Rosales).

Sa episode nito noong June 11, naaksidente si Adrian pagkatapos niyang pumayag na mag file ng marriage annulment kay Monica.

Agad na dinala sa ospital si Adrian, kung saan si Monica at Nicole ay nagkita.

Nageskandalo si Nicole sa ospital habang ipinaglalaban niya ang kanyang karapatan na makita si Adrian dahil ito ang ama ng kanyang anak at pinagbibintangan niya si Monica sa aksidenteng nangyari kay Adrian.

Pero nagmatigas si Monica at pinaalis si Nicole dahil siya daw ang legal na asawa.

Sa huling yugto ng episode, makikitang si Nicole ay luhaan at sinabing hindi niya kayang mabuhay ng wala si Adrian habang dinadamayan siya ng kanyang kaibigang si Rowena (Matet de Leon).

Kalaunan ay bumalik siya sa ospital pero hinarang siya ng security hanggang sa dumating si Monica, at sa unang pagkakataon ay lumuhod si Nicole at nagmamakaawang makita niya si Adrian kahit isang minuto man lang.

The Legal Wife Finale Trailer Released

A trailer for the highly anticipated finale of "The Legal Wife" shows highlights from the top-rating series since its debut in January.



The two-minute video, which was first telecast after the May 30 episode of "The Legal Wife," traces the love story of Adrian which is played by Jericho Rosales and Monica which is played by Angel Locsin as well as her close friendship with Nicole which is played by Maja Salvador.

The montage transitions to memorable moments from the show, including Monica's discovery of the affair, her confrontations with Adrian and Nicole, the revelation of Nicole's pregnancy, and the much-talked-about brawl between the wife and the mistress.

The trailer also shows recent scenes from "The Legal Wife" -- Monica's legal steps to end her marriage, and her encounter with Nicole two years after they both gave birth to their respective kids with Adrian.

Since it premiered early this year, "The Legal Wife" has steadily increased its viewership nationwide, according to Kantar Media.

Its pilot episode on January 27 got 21% in national TV ratings. In April, the series averaged 23.5%. For the month of May, its average audience share soared to 26%.

Directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, "The Legal Wife" also stars JC de Vera, Matet de Leon, Rio Locsin, Mark Gil, and Christopher de Leon. It airs weeknights after "Ikaw Lamang" during ABS-CBN's primetime block.

Vice Ganda Spoofs 'The Legal Wife' Confrontation On Gandang Gabi Vice 3rd Anniversary Episode

In the third anniversary episode of "Gandang Gabi Vice" on Sunday, host Vice Ganda spoofed a popular confrontation scene between Angel Locsin and Maja Salvador in the hit series "The Legal Wife."

The short clip shows Vice Ganda replacing Salvador in her role as Nicole as he faces an enraged Monica played by Angel Locsin. Responding to Monica's now-famous line -- "Masarap ba ang asawa ko?" -- Vice Ganda nods with a funny tweak in the script.

"The Legal Wife," which airs weeknights on ABS-CBN's primetime block, will air its final episode on June 13.
