Anne Curtis's 'Cringeworthy' Performance Makes International Headline

A recent "It's Showtime" performance of TV superstar Anne Curtis, a self-confessed non-singer, has gone viral online and has even reached a foreign news outlet.



Australia's Nine News featured on its website Curtis' rendition of the pop hit "Chandelier," which was shown during the February 14 episode of the noontime program.

The story, titled "TV host's spectacularly weird rendition of Sia hit 'Chandelier'," noted that Curtis is half-Australian and was born in the Victorian town of Yarrawonga.

It didn't take long before Curtis noticed the "funny feature" on Nine News. On Twitter, she recalled that she had lost her voice a day before the number, which was in celebration of her 30th birthday.

Having launched a successful recording career with several hit concerts to her name, Curtis has always emphasized that she is an "entertainer" and not a singer.

She is set to release her third album, following the success of "Annebisyosa" in 2011 and "The Forbidden Album" in 2014.

Anne Curtis New TV Show 'F Word Out Loud' On Lifetime Asia To Air Internationally

After her recent Hollywood film, Anne Curtis is adding another feather to her cap with the announcement of a TV show that is set to air internationally next year.

Cable channel Lifetime Asia on Sunday announced that the 29-year-old actress will host "F Word Out Loud," which is said to be a six-part magazine style series about "fun, food, and fashion."

The show, which has yet to be given a premiere date, aims to give an insider's look at Philippine city life to viewers across Asia.

Although no specific territories have been announced, Lifetime Asia on Twitter confirmed that "F Word Out Loud" will be broadcast internationally.

The unveiling of the project coincided with Curtis' launch as the new face of Lifetime Asia at a packed Trinoma mall on Sunday, which saw the self-confessed "non-singer" belting out a few tunes.

Vice Ganda spoofed Anne Curtis' “Dyesebel” as one of the highlights in his talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice”.



As shown on the spoof, Vice Ganda was sitting along with Dyesebel by the beach.

They were both mermaids and Dyesebel rubbed the magical shell on her tail and it turned into human legs. Vice Ganda was amazed by what he saw and asked Dyesebel if he can also try it on his tail.

Dyesebel then handed the magical shell to him and he started to rub in on his tail. What happened next shocked Vice Ganda because instead of just having two legs, he also had hair all over his body just like the character of Meg Imperial in the TV series “Moon of Desire.”
