Kim Chiu And Gerald Anderson Reunite On Stage

It seems that things are indeed better now between former couple Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.

During the press conference for the 20th anniversary of "ASAP" last Sunday, the two headlined a “throwback” production number as they danced to hits from the 1990s.

Several pictures of them from those who attended the press conference immediately surfaced online, delighting their still loyal supporters dubbed as the “Kimeralds.”

According to Chiu, Rayver Cruz was supposed to join them in the number.

Chiu said she did not feel awkward dancing with her former boyfriend on “ASAP.”

Both former housemates of the hit reality TV series "Pinoy Big Brother," Chiu and Anderson broke up in 2010 amid controversies surrounding their relationship.

The two, however, reunited in the movie “24/7 In Love” in late 2012, two months before the actor and actress Maja Salvador were romantically linked in January the following year.

The two have since confirmed being in a relationship, but it came at the cost of Salvador’s friendship with Chiu, her "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" co-star and erstwhile best friend.

All three are now in good terms. They reportedly reconciled late last year.

Sarah Geronimo As Rapunzel From The Movie Tangled And Kim Chiu As Mulan

Disney Channel Asia on Monday officially released the posters of Sarah Geronimo and Kim Chiu dressed up as Rapunzel and Mulan, respectively.

The release of the official posters marks the end of Disney’s “12 Days of Princess” campaign. The 12 princess characters will be included in a still-unannounced project in Southeast Asia.

In her photo, Geronimo is seen with a blonde wig as she looks outside the window, similar to the popular scene of Rapunzel in the 2010 animated film "Tangled."

Chiu, on the other hand, is seen posing as Mulan in pink hanfu.

The first look at Geronimo as Rapunzel came a month after Disney debuted the music video of the pop star's version of "The Glow," the theme song of the popular Disney Princess franchise.

Chiu, meanwhile, confirmed in October last year that she had been selected to portray Mulan from the 1998 animated film in an unspecified project.

Disney has yet to reveal the major project the two Kapamilya actresses will be part of.

Kim Chiu Cries Over Allegations She Bought Best Actress Award

Kim Chiu could not hold her tears on Wednesday as she addressed allegations that she "bought" an acting award she received last Sunday for her role in the recently concluded primetime series "Ikaw Lamang."

The "Past Tense" star took home the Best Drama Actress trophy at the 2014 PMPC Star Awards for Television, beating Maricel Soriano, Lovi Poe and fellow Kapamilya stars Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Dawn Zulueta, and Maja Salvador.

In a live interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight," Chiu was asked for her reaction to critics who say she was the least deserving of the recognition.

She said she cannot please everyone and if the award can be bought, then she would have bought one before so she can be called best actress.

Despite being in showbiz for almost a decade now, Chiu admitted she has yet to get used to personal attacks from her detractors.

Chiu attained popularity in 2006 when she joined the first-ever teen edition of "Pinoy Big Brother," which she won. She bagged lead roles in several ABS-CBN series and has since starred in 10 films.

Her latest movie, "Past Tense" co-starring Xian Lim and Ai Ai delas Alas, was released in cinemas on Wednesday.

Kim Chiu Forgets Lyrics But Still Charms Concertgoers At One Magical Night Tour In Canada

Kim Chiu warns the audience to lessen their expectations before her solo, acoustic performance of "I'm Yours" at a packed Queen Elizabeth Theater in Toronto, Canada as part of the just-concluded "One Magical Night" tour featuring Star Magic artists.

The 24-year-old actress appeared nervous as she gestured the sign of the cross just before strumming the first parts of the Jason Mraz hit.

Before hitting the chorus, Chiu abruptly stopped, as she forgets the lyrics. The candid moment triggered laughter in the audience, who cheered on Chiu as she appeared embarrassed over the mistake.

Chiu managed to get through the number without a hitch, and even had the audience singing her parts towards the end. At that point, she rejoiced over finishing the song.

The actress appeared less nervous a night later in Edmonton, where she reprised the number for another set Canada-based Filipinos.

She charmed the audience with her jokes and quips as they waited for the sound system to be set up. She drew laughs for translating one sentence after another from Cebuano, her native language, to Tagalog and then English.

As with her performance in Toronto, Chiu had the audience singing along and literally giving them their share of the spotlight.

The four-stop "One Magical Night" tour concluded last Sunday and also featured Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, John Lapus and Marcelito Pomoy.

In videos and photos, Chiu shared on Instagram her fond memories of the tour, crediting the enthusiastic Filipinos there for an "awesome" experience.
