Gab Valenciano Directed Jessica Sanchez's New Music Video

Gary Valenciano said he is extremely proud of his son Gabriel, who is now venturing into directing music videos.

The latest project of Gabriel was the music video of Jessica Sanchez’s new single, “This Love.” It was officially released online by the "American Idol" runner-up on Thursday.

Valenciano said he is happy that Gabriel is being given the opportunity to do the things he is passionate about.

In the nearly four-minute video of "This Love," the Filipino-American-Mexican singer is seen inside a recording studio, intercut with first-person footage showing Sanchez at a theme park.

The date at the park, which ends with Sanchez being brought to her home, appears to be taken from the point of view of a romantic interest.

On Twitter, both Sanchez and Valenciano expressed excitement over the release of the music video, which easily garnered 20,000 views within hours of being uploaded.

Valenciano recently made headlines when he was credited for "additional choreography" in the music video of Beyonce's "7/11," which saw the global superstar performing dance steps popularized by the Filipino in his viral "Super Selfie" series.

Beyonce's Team Consulted Gab Valenciano For Super Selfie Inspired Music Video

The team of Grammy winner Beyonce has supposedly consulted Gab Valenciano for the music video of the global R&B superstar's latest single “7/11.”

In his Instagram account on Saturday, Valenciano reposted a snippet of “7/11’s” music video that was released by Beyonce.

Many of his followers noticed the video’s resemblance to his “super selfies” with some netizens asking if Beyonce actually stole the concept from him.

However, Valenciano’s aunt, Maria Rita Cecilia Arenas, posted a comment and said: “Gab was officially consulted by Beyonce's team, so the signature moves weren’t stolen. They were authorized.”

Valenciano started uploading "super selfies" online in August 2013. His videos, which typically feature snappy dance moves and quick cuts, have collectively garnered millions of views.

Some of his “super selfies” were even picked up by international media, including People magazine and Huffington Post.
