Cristine Reyes And Ali Khatibi Will Be Having A Baby Girl

Cristine Reyes announced on her Instagram account Tuesday night that her baby is a girl.



In a “gender reveal” dinner which she and her partner, mixed martial arts fighter Ali Khatibi, hosted, Reyes revealed they will soon welcome a baby girl.

Photos from the said event, which was attended by the couple's family and close friends, were posted on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, actress Ara Mina also shared a picture of herself with Reyes and their other sister, Heidi.

In a past interview, Mina said Heidi just gave birth last August while she is due this coming January. Reyes is due in summer next year.

Meet Ali Khatibi, The Father Of Cristine Reyes' Baby

Cristine Reyes and the father of her first child, mixed martial arts fighter Ali Khatibi, are now undergoing marriage counseling, according to the actress.

Reyes, 25, ended months of speculation on Sunday when she announced on the concert variety show "ASAP" that she is expecting a baby. Only hours later on "The Buzz," Reyes said in a live interview that her first three months had been critical.

She stressed that she never denied nor attempted to hide her pregnancy, explaining she had been advised to have bed rest due to her condition during her first trimester.

According to Reyes, she and Khatibi planned the pregnancy and were, in fact, dismayed when the results of the test initially showed negative.

The Filipino-Iranian Khatibi, 31, is reportedly a fighter in the Universal Reality Combat Championship, a mixed martial arts league in the country. He is said to specialize in Brazilian jiu jitsui. Also a model, Khatibi appeared in the pages of Cosmopolitan Philippines' "Bachelors" issue in 2013.

Reyes, who attends the same Christian church as Khatibi, said they agreed to take up marriage counseling in preparation for the marriage.

Sinabi ni Cristine sa press conference ng movie na napakachallenging daw makipagtrabaho kay Derek pagkatapos nilang maghiwalay.

Ang pinakamahirap daw niyang shinoot ay ang bathtub scene.

Tinapos ni Cristine at Derek ang kanilang isang buwang relasyon noong 2013 dahil hindi pa daw ready si Cristine sa relasyong iyon, pero nagawa naman nilang maging mag best friends uli.

Nang tinanong si Cristine kung may pagasa pa bang magkabalikan sila ni Derek, sinabi niyang nagkaroon na daw sila ng masinsinang pag-uusap tungkol sa bagay na iyon. Masaya daw silang dalawa sa naging desisyon nila.

Inamin din ni Cristine na kasalukuyan siyang nakikipagkita sa isang non-showbiz na foreigner pero ang kanilang relasyon ay nasa early stages pa lamang.
