These were the words uttered by Kylie Padilla’s action-star father and renowned bad-boy, Robin Padilla, after his daughter released a confirmation of having been impregnated by her on-off boyfriend, Aljur Abrenica. Robin expresses his deep disapproval and disappointment regarding the issue after his daughter officially stated she was three months pregnant after a number of hints and clues on her social media accounts. The Encantadia leading heroine is rumored to be executed from the fantasy series due to her sensitive condition.
Robin expressed his disappointment for his daughter, but at the same time, as the baby is a blessing from above, showed his utmost support as she was still his beloved daughter.
“Hindi ko ibibigay ang opinion ko dyan kasi sumisikat ang ibang tao. Sinaktan na nga ang anak ko eh.” [“I will not be giving my opinion regarding this matter because it just makes another party relevant to the news. He already hurt my daughter, and then this.] says Robin Padilla on a recent interview with him by the press after the news outbreak.
He also gave his daughter a sound advice, a hint of disapproval for the father of her daughter’s child, towards Kylie: “Humanap ka ng barakong Pilipino.” These words signify that the bad-boy of the Philippine movies were in great disapproval towards Abrenica. It was a subtle way to say that the actor who fathered Kylie’s child does not simply have the balls to do it nevertheless, as with regards to the statement of Robin. After a bumpy ride of the couple with their relationship, they had claimed that the two reunited with each other last September 2016, denying rumors of breakup and such.
Viewers of the hit fantasy series were in very much worry for the character of Kylie on the show. Many stated that soon as they eliminate the character of Amihan from the show, they will not be watching Encantadia anymore.
