Sarah Geronimo expresses disappointment over dog killing scene in MMFF movie "Oro"

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo has joined other stars who condemned the brutal killing of the dog in a scene from controversial MMFF movie "Oro".

Geronimo tweeted on Wednsesday her disappointment by sharing a news link of the controversy.

"Kung totoo man ito...hindi ko mapaniwalaan na nagawa nilang patayin ang walang kamalay-malay na asong ito para lang maging makatotohanan ang isang eksena sa pelikula. Nakakadurog ng puso", Sarah tweeted.

Other stars like Carla Abellana, Heart Evangelista have earlier condemned the act.

The movie was awarded FPJ Memorial award by the MMFF committee but was revoked following the controversy.
