VIDEO: Pinay Version of SELENA GOMEZ Spotted Dancing in Cebu Festival

Thinking Hollywood celebrities nested only in California? Hollywood celebs Filipino look-alikes are making rounds on the internet recently after one Facebook user posted an uncanny resemblance of the promising Hollywood actress, Chloe Grace Moretz, to a regular fast-food chain cashier in Navotas. That girl garnered instant fame in social media and led her to have new doors open for her in modelling and product endorsements. It made it more relevant because the actress herself, Chloe Moretz, claimed their resemblance to each other. It was like they were twins from the other side of the world.

But recently, there has been a new picture circling around the internet, not about the double of Moretz, but the alleged doppelganger of international singer, Selena Gomez, spotted in Cebu during the Sinulog streetdance festival. The girl, whose identity remained a mystery bears a striking resemblance with the Hollywood star Selena, who was dancing as part of the festival being held in that province in the Philippines.

The girl was spotted recently on the Sinulog Festival in Cebu held last January 5. The girl caught the immediate attention of the local daily due to her being a look-alike of the star. Since her identity seemingly remained to be a mystery, the Cebu Daily News held a contest with a promise of reward to anyone who will be able to identify the girl on the photograph.

One Facebook user was able to uncover her identity. Dal Rodriguez, the facebook user, revealed the identity of the  girl to be Gerhicka Carcueva, the alleged look-alike of Selena Gomez, was a child of the Ginatilan Tribe in Cebu. She happens to be a Cebuano regularly celebrating their annual fest, never knowing that a simple photograph could catapult her once and foremost to the attention of the public media.
