Jake Cuenca, rushed to hospital after bike accident

Actor Jake Cuenca was rushed to the hospital after he figured in a bike accident on Tuesday morning, ABS-CBN News reported.

Mr. Juanito Cuenca, Jake's father, was interviewed on DZMM and told Jake trains everyday in the vicinity of the Mall of Asia grounds and it was this morning when a truck stopped in front of the actor while he was training around and he did not have enough time to break.

"Tinamaan niya yung truck. Dumiretso siya sa ospital. Nasa emergency room siya, nasa trauma," Mr. Cuenca said.

Jake was rushed to the Medical City by his driver where he was given immediate treatment.

Mr. Cuenca added that Jake was in a lot of pain while doctors were treating him  

The actor has been discharged from the hospital but he is scheduled to undergo surgery on the two broken bones on his hand this Friday.

Currently, Jake is set to appear in the upcoming ABS-CBN series "Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin" with Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu where he plays the role of a triathlete.

The still currently showing film My Ex and Whys which stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano has grossed P341 million worldwide, LizQuen's highest grossing film to date and it's just in its third week of showing in theaters.

The great news was announced at the victory party held for the cast, crew, and staff of the LizQuen film Friday night. Star Cinema has also announced it in their social media accounts.

Incidentally, the film has also broken KathNiel's highest grossing film.

On Instagram, Enrique thanked all everyone for the the support given to their film, "Thank you for the love ❤🙌🙌🙌", he wrote.

Talent Manager Cornelia "Tita Angge" Lee dies

Talent manager Cornelia Lee, widely known as "Tita Angge," died Thursday, March 2, a year after a massive heart attack left her in a coma. She was 70.

Lee passed away at 9:20 p.m. at their residence in Antipolo, ABS-CBN News Onlne reported.

"Thank you for all the prayers for my mother who fought for her life for one year, Praise God it was a peaceful sleep", Lee's daughter Imelda told Mario Dumaual in an interview.

A wake for Lee will be held at the Loyola Memorial in Marikina starting Friday.

Lee began her career as a radio, television, and film talent before becoming a talent manager and casting director. She was first given her break in showbiz by director Pablo Santiago, who cast her for a role in the film "Continental Playboy."

Kris Aquino hints of returning to television

Kris Aquino teased her followers on Instagram when she posted  a photo of her hinting of her return to television. As a fact, according to her, she'll start taping on Friday.

Kris wrote,

"I waited nearly a year, but FINALLY starting something NEW and celebrating with FAITH that my journey is taking me back to where I belong. ❤(Taping starts Friday 📹🎥📷📺🖥💻📱) #NaMissKoKayo #NaMissKoAngTrabahoKongMahal"

Recall that Kris made her announcement March last year on Instagram that she's leaving ABS-CBN citing health as her reason. Incidentally, her contract with the kapamilya network has expired.

Since then, Kris was no longer seen on television. Her expectation of being seen on GMA7 via her newfound manager TAPE Inc.'s Tony Tuviera failed as the top executives shut the doors and windows of the network for the Queen of All Media.

But now Kris is back, fans are asking... "Where is she returning to?"

One fan noted the phrase "where I belong" which Kris used is that she's doing a show for GMA7 as the phrase was associated  with the network a few decades ago. But most of her fans are hoping that it would be on ABS-CBN as it was her home for more than two decades.
