Karla Estrada On The Voice Of The Philippines Season 2 Blind Audition

It is a dream come true for Karla Estrada.

The former actress braved the stage of "The Voice of the Philippines" on an episode of the singing competition aired Saturday, and performed her cover of the 1992 hit "What's Up," originally sung by 4 Non Blondes.

Estrada, the mother of teen star Daniel Padilla, had the crowd at the audition applauding every high note she hit. At one point, she even had one of the coaches --Sarah Geronimo-- singing along.

But it wasn't meant to be.

Coach Lea Salonga, in what was a light moment, shortly before she gave her comment, failed to recognized Estrada. Realizing she made a mistake, Salonga rushed towards the singer and gave her a hug.

For her part, Geronimo commended Estrada for her effort and humility, saying what she did was inspiring.

The other two coaches -- Bamboo Mañalac and apl.de.ap -- also gave similar comments.
